9:00 AM – Departure from Punnamada Finishing Point
At the start of the trip, be prepared for a unique complete houseboat experience with a warm welcome that is scheduled to begin at the cozy docks of Punnamada. Sip on a reviving cocktail and prepare yourself for an incredible journey through the peaceful backwaters of Kerala.
9:15 AM – Cruise Towards Pathiramanal Island
Rest and sight as the houseboat passes through the serene backwaters presenting you with the breathtaking view. Watch the bonny green areas, the traditional villages, and the groves of coconut trees dotting the way.
10:00 AM – Arrival at Pathiramanal Island
Step off the boat on Pathiramanal Island, the paradise for bird lovers and naturalists. This small island, which is uninhabited, is, however, very famous for its very rich biodiversity and a significant birdwatching spot.
10:15 AM – Birdwatching and Island Exploration
Take time to explore the tracks and paths of the island with the help of an expert in the field of ecology and nature. Trying to find migratory and resident birds that include such types of herons, kingfishers, cormorants, and also egrets. Pathiramanal Island is the home of more than 90 kinds of local birdies, and also, more than 50 kinds of birdies that visit this place annually.
11:00 AM – Return to the Houseboat
After a wonderful birdwatching session, come back aboard houseboat for a calm trip back to Punnamada. Refreshments will be served on board.
11:15 AM – Leisure Cruise and Backwater Experience
Rediscover serenity in the languid backwaters while observing the present Kerala style and then moving to the pleasing little villages scattered over the land. The backwaters are a fantastic nature reserve, giving food and shelter to a diversity of water plants and animals in addition to being a quiet oasis from people’s daily routine.
11:45 AM – Arrival at Punnamada Finishing Point
Arrive back at Punnamada Finishing Point, where your memorable houseboat tour concludes.
